John McLean, LPC/ CSAT / Supervisor
John McLean received his education from Arizona State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He furthered his education with a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University, having majored in trauma abuse and deprivation.
John is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with extensive life experience and training in helping individuals and families with childhood trauma, full disclosures, sexual addiction, or confusion as a result of trauma or attachment wounds, and substance abuse.
John completed a one-year internship at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, an in-patient treatment facility for substance abuse wherein he facilitated group therapy, created treatment plans and counseled individuals struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, as well as crisis intervention.
Currently John runs phase 2 SABR groups, and works with the professional SABR staff at Family Strategies specializing in treating individuals struggling with sex addiction and prodependency through a proven three-phase program.
