Thomas Olsen, LAC, CSAT-C / Psychotherapist

Thomas works with adolescents (11+), adults, and couples looking to find healing and purpose in their life. He utilizes mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapy, psycho-education, narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and positive psychotherapy approaches. He works specifically with individuals who struggle with sexually compulsive and addictive behaviors, anxiety, relationship struggles, and chronic stress. If you long for a closer relationship with your spouse or a more positive relationship with your family, Thomas desires to help.

Thomas focuses on helping clients reduce shame, create long-lasting healthy habits, and construct meaningful connections with family and friends. Clients will have a secure and comfortable space to express emotions. Throughout treatment, individuals will learn effective recovery tools, how to reach out and connect with others, and how to process difficult emotions which fosters healing and growth.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and obtained his master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Prior to being a therapist, he worked as a behavior coach, providing in-home services to children, adolescents, and families.

Along with being passionate about helping others through therapy, Thomas is also passionate about his family, sports, exercising, reading, pizza, and movies (especially superhero films).  He currently hosts a podcast called Superhero MovieCast, which focuses on discussing inspiring themes of superhero movies.
